Updated Submission Guidelines
Since 2019, I’m no longer doing product reviews or social media promotional campaigns. I’ve become a full-time freelancer for writing and editing TTRPGs. Any previous obligations should already be completed. I will not accept any requests for any of the above services.
Please make sure your email topic says “Writing -“, “Editing – “, or “Consulting -” and the name of your project.
Send all inquiries for quotes to archmage@deathbymage.com. I will respond within 1 or 2 business days.
Writing Services (as of Oct 2022)
The rates presented are a guideline for my services. Terms are negotiable and based on availability.
- Writing: $0.15 per word ($1500 per 10k words)
- D&D 5th Edition only: $0.20 per word ($2000 per 10k words)
- Game Design Consultation: $60 per hour depending on the size & scope of the content.
Editorial Services (as of Oct 2022)

- Proofreading/Line Editing: $0.025 per word ($250 per 10k words)
- Content Editing (Copyediting): $0.030 per word ($300 per 10k words)
- Creative Consultation: $0.050 per word ($500 per 10k words)
- Consultation Editing: $60 per hour depending on the size of the content & scope of editing duties.
- Cultural/Sensitivity Reading: $0.030 per word ($300 per 10k words) with additional
