It’s that time of year again! The holiday season returns back to the Death By Mage blog for our 3rd annual Santa Claus D&D build. Around early November, I begin polling for our next version of Santa Claus using a class from the D&D 5th Edition ruleset.

Our first Santa Claus in 2015 (click here) was a warrior Bard inspired by Santa from the movie Rise of the Guardians.

Our second Santa Claus in 2016 returned as a powerful toymaking, toy soldier leading Wizard (click here).

So this year’s poll ended with a tight race which ultimately leads to our declared victor.

Since the D&D community wanted a Warlock Santa Claus I decided on some unique Warlock pacts and so I give you two versions of Santa Claus! One who made a pact with the Spirit of Christmas (the Giver) and other with Krampus (the Fallen). Some new Artifacts of Christmas this time around too.
