It’s that time of the year again as I return to produce another D&D Santa Claus build. The Twitter polls rang, and the results came back for a Cleric/Paladin version of Father Christmas this year. This year I went for a multiclass instead of two versions of Santa, plus I wanted to try multiclassing for a statblock. Ultimately, the Knowledge Domain Cleric and the Oath of Redemption Paladin were the highlights of this year’s Santa Claus build. Much of this year’s Santa Claus was inspired by the many saints and saintly figures of Saint Nicholas, but notably Nicolas the Wondermaker, which led to the “Wonderwarrior” title.

You can catch all of my previous Santa Claus builds:

Santa Claus 2015 – Inspired by Russian lore & the Santa from Rise of the Guardians

Santa Claus 2016 – A crafty toymaker and toy soldier leading wizard

Santa Claus Naughty & Nice 2017 – Santa Claus as a Warlock following the patrons of the Spirit of Christmas and Krampus

A lot of the decisions for this year’s Santa Claus build came from the Knowledge Domain’s channel divinity feature and the Oath of Redemption’s oaths and features. I went for the less optimized build and went for the Christmas flair.
